Come To Chat

Chat – Chat – Chat

When you work out of a home office, you tend to do so alone. Joining VAnetworking allows you to connect with others experiencing the same solitude.

Free membership at VAnetworking includes weekly e-seminars on Wednesday evenings. These e-seminars are business related and offer a wealth of information to all entrepreneurs.

That aside, an amazing thing happens once the e-seminars are over. You get to chat with everyone for another hour. It’s fantastic. Any and all questions, jokes and friendly conversations are welcome. These are the same individuals you meet within the forum.

The chats help you on so many levels. One great aspect is the fact that you get to know your peers well. They become great friends. Tawnya Sutherland has established an excellent community at VAnetworking.

So, come on over to VAnetworking and chat with us.

“License to Wed” Review

Posted in General at 8:27 pm by CMJ Office

Awesome movie! If you need a good laugh, just grab this movie or turn on HBO this month.

John Krasinski, Mandy Moore, Robin Williams and just about everyone from the cast of The Office fill this film with hilarious scenes throughout.

I highly recommend “License to Wed” for all newly engaged couples. It may just make your impending nuptials seem boring. For all others, it’s a great laugh to be had.

Peace by Yeats

PEACE

W. B. Yeats (1865-1939)

Ah, that Time could touch a form

That could show what Homer’s age

Bred to be a hero’s wage.

‘Were not all her life but storm,

Would not painters paint a form

Of such noble lines,’ I said,

‘Such a delicate high head,

All that sternness amid charm,

All that sweetness amid strength?’

Ah, but peace that comes at length,

Came when Time had touched her form.

Lottery Emails – I Must Be Rich

Posted in Chat, General, Business at 9:41 pm by CMJ Office

Why?

Yes, I am asking the question. I have winning lottery emails on a daily basis. At this rate, I can just sit at home and do ‘zip’.

What is going on?

It’s worldwide now. I’ve got winnings coming in from every direction. I thought it was funny when I’d get them once a month.

When you get daily multiple emails, it tends to get annoying.

I wish that I could flood the inboxes of everyone that sends me one of these notifications. Then again, these people could be victims of email theft.

I have been the victim of this lately. I’m still amazed that some people in this world could be that unethical.

Does this annoy anyone else? LOL

In Case Of Emergency - ICE

Posted in Chat at 6:30 pm by CMJ Office

We all carry our mobile phones with names and numbers stored in its memory but nobody, other than ourselves, knows which of these numbers belong to our closest family members or friends.

If we were to be involved in an accident or were taken ill, the people attending us would have our mobile phone but wouldn’t know who to call. Yes, there are hundreds of numbers stored but which one is the contact person in case of an emergency? Now, there is an “ICE” (In Case of Emergency) Campaign in progress across America. I actually think that this is a great global idea.

The concept of ICE is a method of contact during emergency situations. As cell phones are carried by the majority of the population, all you need to do is store the number of a contact person or persons who should be contacted during emergency under the name ICE (In Case Of Emergency).

The idea was thought up by a paramedic who found that when he went to the scene of an accident, there were always mobile phones with patients, but they didn’t know which number to call. He therefore thought that it would be a good idea if there was a nationally recognized name for this purpose. In an emergency situation, Emergency Service personnel and hospital staff would be able to quickly contact the right person by simply dialing the number you have stored as ICE.

For more than one contact name simply enter ICE1, ICE2 and ICE3 etc. This is a great idea that will make a difference!

Let’s spread the concept of ICE by storing an ICE number in our mobile phones today.
